Annie Wang

Hey, I'm Annie – your friendly neighborhood UX designer!

While I hold an Honors Bachelor of Game Design, my knack for UX is entirely self-taught.

When I'm not diving deep into user experiences, you'll likely catch me gaming (typical, I know), doing some Pilates, teaching my Sunday K-pop dance class, or creating Genshin Impact themed nail art.

I created this website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (with a sprinkle of AI help).

Testimonials

Annie is a fantastic asset to the team and has continually demonstrated the ability to break down complex problems and present solid, well thought out solutions that are easy to understand and contain the right amount of information. UI/UX is a field in which everyone has an opinion and everyone has slightly different expectations and ideas. Annie is able to pull people together behind clear visual intentions and reasoning that can unify the team behind a solution. I've always appreciated her approach to exploring ideas and assembling the pieces of the puzzle into clear diagrams that are backed up with well reasoned explanations as to why she feels it would be a good solution.

Even during times of stress when multiple rounds of feedback have been given, Annie was professional, patient and kept producing ideas and suggestions to resolve a particular design challenge. She is a wonderful and talented person to work with and I'm really happy, and feel very fortunate we have someone with her abilities on the team.

Despite having only been in the industry for a few years, Annie is already a fantastic UX designer with a bright future ahead of her.

She has the right attitude, she's proactive and always comes up with creative solutions to issues.

UX is a crucial part of design and finding the right person for the job is not easy. As a Director, I always appreciate Annie's approach and suggestions. She makes my job a lot easier on the UX front.

Working with her on the Splinter Cell Remake is a pleasure and I know already that she will go far in her career.

Game Director, Ubisoft

I had regular check-ins with Annie where she would ask about how I was doing and if there was anything she was able to support me with. She made time to give me informal design reviews where she helped me understand why certain things might be better for the player.

Annie generously gave me early feedback and suggestions on my designs and communicated to me the strengths of each version. She actively assisted me in deciding which of the ideas to focus on and improve.

Annie consistently helped me and worked collaboratively with me on some of the screens in my designs. She was a great role model and I'm grateful for the positive impact she had on me.

Her favorite spot is on top of my PC case, where she uses my poor RTX 3080 as a bed warmer. Her favorite things to eat are chicken, chestnuts, and cake!

A classic Shiba complete with the sassy personality. He's stubborn, independent, and does the Shiba collar face squish when he doesn't want to walk anymore.
